Use my waiver on Peralta? WHIR

Postby BJSFAN123 » Sun May 10, 2009 9:00 pm

Peralta was dropped in my 12 team h2h league, I currently have Furcal as my starting SS. Both have been struggling so far, I'm thinking of using my #1 waiver pick on Peralta since no one in my league usually drops anyone good, plus all of the top prospects are already in the yahoo database. I think it might be a good idea since furcal gets 1 day off a week, and maybe Peralta will get hot.

Thoughts?

I'd do it, especially considering how tight your league is with drops. When Peralta gains some value, you could flip either him or Furcal and fill one of your holes. Good luck.

Tough call. In a 10 team league I'd say no, but in a 12 team league he should definitely be owned. If you'd only be claiming him to play over Furcal theny I'd say no. Furcal is a good enough SS option. He's just gotten off to a slow start.

Can you give me your thoughts on this one? viewtopic.php?t=384247

i agree that Peralta's not worth it. Furcal is merely starting slowly this year, it's not looking friendly for Johnny for the rest of the year. I'd stay put. Hang out and wait for someone more valuable with that waiver.
