How good is Pierre?

I don't think there's ANY reason to take Pierre. Go get Willy Taveras is he's there. I'm sure there are plenty of better options in such a shallow league.

I am actually going to agree with trying to trade Ordonez to pick up Pierre in a shallow league, but not in a deep league.

First off, note the language: trade Ordonez, do not cut him.

But, Pierre should outproduce for the next 45 games, and, after that, dump him for the next top player on the line.

There are guys on the waiver wire who have outproduces the Mark Teixeira's of the world, maybe Teixeira owners should drop him for those guys........Like I said, you've already talked yourself into making this move, which I don't agree with because you could get more for trade with any of your guys.
