He is the polar opposite of Manny in nearly every way. He is quite in the clubhouse. He is a great base runner. He is an above average left fielder. He doesn't throw traveling secretaries to the ground. He steals bases. The only thing that is similar between the two is that both can rake. In fact Bay is producing more this year than Manny did in his final year in a half in Boston.
Bay has more than replaced Manny. What a great trade that was.
