Not particularly, on paper it sounds good, but when you look at your team it probably means benching abreu to squeeze him in, so when you look at the differential between what grady is gonna give you instead of bobby, it's really nothing major, in fact the way they're playing now you could argue abreu is getting the better of sizemore, so that in no way makes up for losing the best pitcher in baseball, which btw is not greinke as everyone is clamoring to say, it's johan

Based on what I'm reading, you're going to get Johan, but the person before me seems to think you'll be gettting Sizemore. I probably wouldn't do it, because Sizemore is probably a little more valuable than Santana, but your OF is stacked. I don't know how many you start. Santana would be a good addition to your pitching staff, and so you can talk me into it. I just am not sure I would if I were in your shoes.

Oh, when you said "I got Grady" I thought you meant he deal was done and you were asking how you did, regardless, santana is the man you want on your team, however it has to get done. Like I said in a vaccum sizemore is clearly better, but we're not, and you're benching perfectly good guys to fit grady in , and johan costs you nothing, that gives the huge advantage to santana

I wouldn't trade one of you top hitters for Johan if you think you need an upgrade at pitching I'm sure somebody would be willing to deal for your bench players in a package deal for a mid tier pitcher IMO.

Your offense is absolutely stacked and you can certainly afford to lose grady here.......i'd do the trade you need johan to go with CC and have dominant SP's to go along with your stacked offense
