Trade Hill, Cano or Phillips? Thanks and WHIR!!!

Postby WhipperSnappers44 » Sun May 10, 2009 12:59 pm

Need some serious help all!

I am in a Yahoo 12 man Rotisserre league and am falling in rankings fast. I figured that my pitching is what is killing me and need some help with a trade or trades.

Looking at my team I do have 3 top quality 2B guys (A.Hill, R.Cano, B.Phillips). I am looking to move one of them and I'm not quite sure on which one to move? Phillips is doing very well right now and Cano is in a slump but has the ability and star quality to tear it up but I cannot see myself to drop Hill who has lit it up all season. I was thinking of trading Cano since he has the name but is in a funk right now....is that the right choice? Also, what top SP could I target for Cano straight up?

The second part of this question is should I try and also target a decent/top 3B guy? My 3B guys are Inge (which I like to play at C but can have him play 3B while Molina plays C. I also have G.Atkins which has been dreadful and I really want to trade him.

I can also add in a trade (Dempster, Lohse) and guys like Zambrano and Joba are high names but are sucking so should I consider any of (Atkins, Ellsbury, Zambrano, Dempster, Joba, Cano (or Hill/Phillips) in a trade for high end SP/RP/3B guys?)

Please let me know as I am confused on who all I should trade away on that list and what kind (range) of top SP/RP/3B to target.

Thanks and WHIR!!!

My team:

Batters- Molina, Morneau, Phillips, Inge, Young, Granderson, Sizemore, Victorino, Hill (bench- Cano, Atkins, Ellsbury, BJ Upton)
Pitchers - Lohse, Joba, Qualls, Lindstrom, Harang, Ziegler, Dempster, Zambrano, E.Santana

Thanks again for your help and I will 100% help in return!!!

Probably hill since he's the hottest right now I think you might get the most from him and I think phillips will be better the rest of the way. Cano I think will have a lot of RBI opportunities and hell hit for a decent average so I think you can live without hill.

I'd probably try to trade Atkins, Ellsbury, joba, and hill to upgrade what you need.

help plz
