Need closer Help!

Postby azliving13 » Sun Mar 14, 2004 11:20 am

We are in the 16th round, the following closers are gone:
Rhodes, Dotel, Foulke, Wagner, Isringhausen, Beietez, HOffman, Rivera, Julio, BorowskiMantei, Guerdado, Gagne, Percival, and Smotlz.

I own Julio and Borowski. I must start 2, but in our league we can start up to 4 (we have 2 pitching spots that can be either starter or closer).

Who would be a good choise for a 3rd starter. Any sleepers out there that anyone likes.

Also...Marlon Byrd is still out there in the 16th round. I have my 4 OF's and am now filling positions spots. Is he to good to just leave out there now? Will he be the 20-20 player they are talking about. I could pick him up and trade him for a closer if he is to be as good as I am hearing.

Thanks for your help. Closers are so messy after awhile that I am not having fun picking a 3rd.

leave byrd for now, is kris benson still on the board, i think his value rises if he goes to st louis. I like kolb for a closer.
