I would definitely pick him up. However, I would probably drop Laroche for him.

I was thinking about dropping LaRoche for Todd Helton actually.

I would do what you just said and drop Laroche for Helton, but I think Tejada is a bit more reliable at this point than Cabrera. If you think he can sustain close to what he's doing right now go for it as he definitely has the higher ceiling at this point than Tejada.
