Advice Needed: Berkman,Tejada for Lackey, Rollins? WHIR

Obviously my Saves are limited. We do count holds, so I am hoping someone will take over a closer spot down the road.

But maybe I should try to get him to throw in a closer? (His are Wood, Zeigler, Wilson)

I'm not crazy about it for a few reasons: you already have Reyes, so Rollins doesn't fill a need. And, Carmona is a downgrade from Lowe. Berkman is definitely a good trade chip for you, but I'd be looking to upgrade at 2B instead of landing another SS. A Kendrick injury could be right around the corner, you never know with him.

I agree with the above post. Carmona's control is terrible the last 2 years and you don't need a SS.

I hear ya. My only reason to get Rollins would be to trade him.

The other owner is looking to get Tejada from me (and I think he wants to move Rollins and Lackey). I originally offered Tejada, Konerko, and Lowe for Lackey and Rollins. This was his counter-offer.

yea, i'd ask for a reliever in there instead of carmona other than that i think it's pretty good - rollins you can stick at Util

Not a bad deal if you needed Rollins. I dont really like Carmona.

Then you would have two ss. You already have Berkman and Teix. One of them needs to be in the Util spot. This means every night you would need to bench one of Berkman Teix Reyes or Rollins...

I would lay off of this one. Who are his OFs? Hunter wont keep up this production and if he has a top of the line OF you may be able to get him instead of Rollins...

why not try to grab Braun or Lee instead of Rollins.

I would target Braun first and if he rejects / counters try to grab Lee...

Well I was trying to get Rollins on the cheap. I don't think he would do a straight swap of Rollins for Braun in the deal.

What do you think about:

I would try the Braun offer and see what happens. I do not like the first trade offer for you at all. You are better off standing pat. I know you said you would try and trade Rollins but right now he has no value and you would be selling low.
