Should I target Manny and/or Webb. WHIR

Ok, I am in a very competitive league and think my team will be able to withstand the blow of having Webb on the DL (we have 1 dl spot) and Manny Inactive. They guy who has them both is free falling out of the top spot. I was thinking of offering a few low ball offers. What do you guys think??

If its only a three playr keeper even if you got both of them would you keep Manny over Wright or Teix ? I know I wouldn't .Not sure about Webb. Haren and Hamels ? hmmm. With only three keepers I lean toward keeping three hitters. Unless you had Johann or Linceum.

I would not be targeting them to keep. I would never keep either of them over Arod, Wright and Tex. They could potentially put me over the top come the second half. I was thinking of offering 2 of Davis, Aviles, Cueto ...etc. There are a few good players on the Waiver that I would like to pick up. once I move Webb to the DL. I could also trade these guys once they come back to improve my team (targeting a top SS).

Thing is both will be back and the guys you would offer aren't lowing balling. Its almost an insult. i think you need to do better then that to even have a chance of him considering. But theres no place to go but up with an offer. he could take a little better offer from someboy else if he thinks thats about all he can get.

Cueto is pitching great right now and he loves Aviles (dont ask me why). He actually offered me Webb and Liriano for Aviles and Danks but the trade was vetoed.

Try Cueto and Aviles if he likes him that much.

I myself have Manny and Webb on my team (as well as Aramis Ramirez), and I have prepared myself mentally for their long absence. I'm hoping to keep my head above water while I wait for them. In my mind, if someone were to offer something it would have to be pretty good b/c I'm willing to wait. Hopefully your guy is more impatient

I offered Cueto, Davis and Aviles for Webb and Manny. I will then have room to pick up 2 guys if he excepts.
