Price or Hanson WHIR

Postby ROC AllStars » Sat May 09, 2009 10:02 pm

Which prospect SP is better to stash? I have Price right now, but he's not been dominant in AAA, and it appears as if TB does not have any intention of bringing him up in the near term. Hanson has been excellent. I only have room for one. Leave a link.

I think Hanson has moved slightly ahead of Price...at least on my list. I just think we'll see him sooner.

Can you help with this one? viewtopic.php?t=383973

I still like Price. You might see Hanson sooner but Price has the better stuff in my opinion. He should get it together.

Price is down there working on his Changeup so he won't have dominate stats. I'd still want Price over Hanson.

Smart money is on Price.... but I would be willing to gamble on Tommy. I'd like to see roster for all choices, but I think there is still more long term value in Price.

I stashed Hanson, so personally, I hope and feel he is the man here. But like someone said, the smart money may still be on Price... I just don't like the idea of Yankees, red sox, etc.

Like the others said, David Price is already ready for the MLB. He is currently just working on secondary pitches and looking to improve on those. That is why his stats arnt as dominate. The only problem is when he gets called up he is going to be facing hitters like A-Rod, Teixeira, Youk, Bay, Ortiz, Lowell, Wells, Hill, Rios, Roberts, Markakis, and Huff. Those are a ton of great hitters that he will be facing a number of times.

Is there anyway you can stash both?

I would still go with Price. He has been in the majors before, so he at least has some experience. Hanson may end up being the better SP over the long run though

I'd go for Hanson at this stage but there is not much in it.
