Fukudome and Martin for AGon?(WHIR)

Mixed league, 10 teams, 18 man rosters, H2H, 8x8 cats, redraft league, weekly lineup set

I have been offered Russell Martin and Fukudome for my AGon. What do you think? If not, would asking for Kemp or Ethier along with Martin be too much to ask for for AGon? I need a catcher with Posada on the DL now so I could definitely use Martin and he should pick it up sooner or later. Any opnions?

No way dont do it. Fuku looks like hes gonna crash like he did last season and Russel is overrated. I doubt he will accept kemp and martin for A.gonz. He MIGHT do etheir and martin. Then again A.Etheirs numbers might drop with manram out.

I wouldn't do that. Gonzo is having a great year even though he plays for the lowful Padres. Fukudome is a sell high guy in my mind. Martin is overrated. Keep the Gonz.

No on the original trade...but I like this idea. Although you'd be stuck with two decent catchers in Posada and Martin if you make it. Will you try to flip one of them in another trade?

I probably would just drop Posada because the league is so shallow with only two BN spots and I could always pick him back up when he comes off the DL. Or I could drop Drew and keep Posada and use for trade bait but I doubt anyone in my league will trade for him. AGon is a stud and would it be worth it if I got Kemp or Ethier in the deal along with Martin? Let me know and leave your links. Thanks.

In my mind yes...and I would prefer Kemp over Ethier.

Thanks for the help on mine. I wouldn't do the original trade. Fukudome has shown that he can fall apart real quick. However, considering your C situation, I would do the trade if you could get Kemp or Eithier. Obviously Kemp would have to be your first choice, but IMO Eithier has been sold a bit short this season. Even without Manny he's going to put up strong numbers. Position scarcity makes Martin extremely valuable. I would offer AGon for Kemp/Martin and see what happens. Good luck!

I agree. If you can get Kemp or Either with Martin, do the deal, otherwise stand pat.

Posada shouldn't be out for too much longer. Getting Kemp and Martin for Adrian will leave you short on HR's. Get someone like Chris Snyder off the WW. He'll put up better stats than Martin.
