Who to drop for Delgado? WHIR!!

Postby mayfijr » Sat May 09, 2009 6:26 pm

Carlos Delgado was dropped in my league. I have plenty of starting pitching and was thinking of dropping either John Maine or Randy Johnson to pick up Delgado. I also have Jose Lopez on the bench because I start Utley. Would you drop Maine, Johnson, or Lopez? Leave a link, and I will help in return.

Drop John Maine for him...Quick, quick, quick. You can easily pick up another John Maine like pitcher if you need it.

Maine or Lopez would be fine cuts. I think I'd lean toward Maine because Lopez is decent for depth, and Maine has been mediocre at the absolute best. I think the Big Unit will settle in eventually, and I love his home ballpark and the fact he's in the NL. Definitely cut Maine and be thrilled you had the gift of Delgado dumped into your lap. Good luck. If you don't mind, I could use some help with mine. Thanks in advance.

I'd drop Maine. He really isn't that good.

Lopez offers decent stats at a scarce position and Big Unit can still put up decent K numbers.
I never smile if I can help it.... Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.
