Yeah why not. 3B is shallow and I still think Wright will put up better numbers overall compared to Braun in standard leagues over the remainder of the year.

This is a very close deal, and I say you should do it.

The 3B pool is not deep at all anymore. I'd say Wright, Aramis and a few others are the 3B's worth keeping. You can find a lot more OF's with something approaching Braun's stats.

One area where you do take a hit with this deal is BA. If you can afford to go from Braun's .325 to Wright's .305, then make this deal.
I never smile if I can help it.... Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.

Thanks for your response on my thread.

I agree with this 110%. The deal is just about dead even, and Wright should do you wonders at the corner, not to mention he makes for a great keep.

If we were drafting today, I'd still take Wright over Braun. Similar players, but thinner talent pool at 3b.

Can you lend a hand with this one? viewtopic.php?t=383973

I prefer Braun by margin, but I have a good 3B on my team... If you have the needs, it makes sense and you are justified. Do it. Given the hot streak of Braun and slow start by Wright, what are odds you can get an edge on a second player???
