I'd wait on Holliday. Give him a chance adjust to his surroundings. He's a quality hitter. Be patient. The season is only a month in. Look at last year and remember how long it takes some players to get going.

Yeah that deal is awful for you, just because he's not in coors anymore doesn't stop him from being a beast, rios went from being so under the radar to this overrated average player, holiday is in the same camp as markakis, soriano, beltran and the like, if you're not getting that kind of value (you're not here by a looong shot) then stay put, or at least counter for someone in holliday's league. Not that this matters in the least, but this was the guy going top 5 last year, he's still 100 100 20 20 .300++, treat him like it

It's not a huge downgrade, but I still would rather have Holliday over Rios. If you could somehow swap catchers as well, it's not as bad. Napoli has been killing the ball, but I can't see him doing it all year. The power might be there but I doubt his average will be that high (not sure though, haven't been watching his AB this year). I'd probably wait, but if you could get both Rios and Martin (not sure you'd be throwing in if not Napoli), I suggest doing it. Rios is not as good as Holliday, but his supporting cast is better. I think the A's are a pitiful bunch on offense, and that stadium doesn't help.
help me?
