Curtis Granderson: WHIR

Postby Bravos of Steel » Sat May 09, 2009 3:34 pm

I've been offered Adam Jones, Joe Saunders, and Chris Volstad for my Curtis Granderson and Jed Weaver (LAA). I need the SP help, but is this enough for Curtis Granderson? Leave a link guys, I'll definitely help you if you give me some insightful advice

No I would not do this, I like Granderson way better than Jones.

And Weaver is better than Volstad and Saunders.

If you ask me I think you could do better.

I'd rather have Weaver than the other two at this point. The depth doesn't make up for the loss in quality as I view both Saunders and Volstad as sell high candidates.

If you're sending Granderson elsewhere, target a better pitcher like a Vazquez or Shields.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Yea I like Adam Jones but I like the pair you have more than that single guy. I would stay put unless you can get a better pitcher instead of 2 decent guys

I'm not a fan of this deal at all personally. I like Granderson for this season better then I like Jones (though I do think Jones will put together a fantastic season) and I like Weaver better then Volstad and Saunders. The other shoe will eventually drop for Saunders, and I wouldn't want to own him when it does. I do think Volstad will have a decent season, but there is nothing in his track record to indicate the type of start he's had (namely the high strikeout totals thus far), Weaver IMO is a bit underrated these days bc he was a bit overrated when he first got to the big leagues. I'd say hold for sure.
