1) Hamilton had an excellent year but we'll have to see what happens now once the league has had a good chance to look at him. 2) tejada's best days are behind him 3) Slowey has his moments but isn't really an impact fantasy player
on the other side
1) Burnett should give you all kinds of Ws and Ks and possibly good peripherals is everything goes well 2) Jeter v. Tejada is kind of a wash. Tejada has some weeks that are top notch along with a buch of avg killers 3) I'm big on Granderson. He has a longer track record than Hamilton and also gives you steals
In all it's a pretty even trade, though Burnett is an upgrade over Slowey and I'd bet that Granderson has a better year than Hamilton when all is said and done
Thanks for the help with mine and sorry to take so long to get back.
I think its fairly close but I would pull it. Hamilton is the best player but it looks like granderson is gonna pull in some solid power numbers this year. I really don't think they end of the year difference between the two will be huge.
youre giving up the best player in the deal, burnett will almost certainly get injured and is pitching in the toughest division, and jeter is old and has really never been a great fantasy SS. so really it comes down to hamilton for granderson, which is an overpayment in my eyes. i like grandy, but i think youre paying too much here
I dont' think I would do it. Burnett IMO you kinda know what you'll get from him and injury too Jeter is an upgrade over Tejada and Grandy's putting it back together this year, BUT I dont' think this nec. helps your team.
Your getting more SB's (w/ Roberts and Ichiro, Rios and some Hunter) but your losing out on a lot of RBI's and HR's (more so RBI's b/c you'll have at least 3/4 leadoff hitters). Plus the fact that you are loading your team w/ Yankee's. Burnett, Tex, Arod, Jeter, Joba, which can be good, IF they hit that day/week.
