Do I have a choice??? WHIR!!!

Hey all,

I am in a Yahoo 12 team H2H league (standard 10 CAT scoring) I am really struggling in the pitching catagories (you can tell by my pitchers or lack there of). I have a long line of OF's and nobody in the league wants to trade for any of them. I have tried all kinds of trades and most all of them are in favor of the other person.

The WW is very scarce for Pitchers and I need your help in deciding what to do. Can I really drop some decent OF's for crappy/ok pitchers? I was thinking of dropping Hart (I never use him) and Slowley (I like him and think he will turn it around but my worst SP not named Kazmir to drop) for Richmond (really heating up....minus the 5 runs yesterday but hey, nobody is perfect....except Grienke...hehehehe) and for Sherrill (I know he lost the primary relief duties but no real competition and he did throw a good save the game after the demotion announcement.

I'd actually stay put sir. Your staff has struggled early, but theyre a pretty decent group, and they should be fine. Maybe try and trade Kazmir and an OF and try and fetch a top starter for it, but other than that stay away from that wire. Not worth dropping someone like Ellsbury IMO.

Since you mentioned that I shouldn't go to the crappy WW then can anyone advise me of who I could trade Hart and/or Ellsbury (preferably just Hart) for as far as receiving an SP or RP in return (I believe I need RP help the most)?

I could also try Hart and Kasmir for a top SP and a decent RP but for who?

I just need a ballpark range to try because all the offers I have tried have been murdered.

The recent offers that wer shut down:

Ellsbury/Hart/Kasmir for M.Young/Papelbon/Washburn
Hart/Ellsbury for Lidge/Bedard (the guy had the nerve to counter with Lidge/Bedard for Mauer/R.Howard)
Hart for Jenks
Hart/Ellsbury for Cantu/M.Gonzalez

These are just a few but there are many/many more and either they get straight rejected or the member never gets on to the site. Now...most likely I think it's my fault and I am over-rating Ellsbury/Hart and/or these trades so I need your help in deciding who I should try and trade Hart for or Ellsbury or both that would get accepted easily. So....I just received an offer: My Jacoby Ellsbury and Mariano Rivera for his Dan Haran and Shane Victorino.

Normally I would maybe jump all over this due to the fact that I like Vic over Ells and the fact that Haran is great but if I were to do this then I would only have 1 closer and there is no WW what so ever and nobody to drop (I mean, I could find someone if I had to)...the best thing on the WW is Sherrill, Hawkins, some other scruffies.

so.....do I take this trade and really punt RP's? Do I take this trade and grab a scruff RP off the WW? (mind you that I would have to drop someone decent to do that)....or do I stay put?

BTW....I have put out several requests for RP's and/or for any trades in the league and they are getting shot down quicker than I can post them! Seems like people are not in the trading mood right now.
