i have a problem with that statement, namely as jason bay is finally having a season in the middle of a pretty badass lineup and look at how he's absolutely murdering the ball... .300ish/9/32 methinks?!@ he's prolly going to drive in ~120+ and maybe even hit 40 HR, which if sizemore does it hey thank you jesus he's the main player on my main squad and his .228 average is enh, but if he can go 40/30 well SLAP MAH FRO i'd take it, cuz i'm getting used to 0/4 or 1/5 run rbis out of him.

i think jason bay is gonna be a beast this year tho, and even without the suspension he was gonna have better numbers than manny... that's why i traded joey votto for him when votto was like .350/3/15 or something, cuz even tho its giving a 1B for an OF, bay has managed to go .386/6/21 with 16 runs in 52 at bats... now those are 52 nice at bats, eh?!@

There is no doubt that Bay is mashing right now but I think in terms of fantasy value Sizemore is the more balanced, and thus the more valuable player. Bay is going to drive in a ton of runs in the Sox line up but he's not going to steal you a ton of bases and I don't think he's going to hit 40hrs.

+1 for my reasoning as well.

Sizemore could reach 40/40 this year when he breaks out of his slump. I'm also pretty sure he'll bat at least .280 for the year. I'll take those 40 stolen bases and probably 10 more homers over 30 some rbis in difference any day. Sizemore's a pretty elite run producer too.

Sorry to take so long to respond and thanks for the help with my question.

I think I would take this deal. Your team seems like its got a lot of depth for a 14 team league. Sizemore is better than Bay and being a keeper has a little more value. Its a big downgrade at 2b but a big upgrade at RF. I think Gallardo is a much better value this year and down the road then Kazmir.

You have a lot of players you can shop around for a good 2b. You could potentially get a solid 2b for someone like Delgado or mabye even Quentin for an elite level 2b. Also you could potentially trade one of your starters like Shields for a 2b.
