Should I add Tulowitzki as insurance for Jeter? Thanks

Postby cassplaya4 » Sat May 09, 2009 12:19 am

I think I am going to drop Sandoval for Helton as insurance for Lee, Helton is having a mighty fine year.

Tulowitzki (JJ Hardy is available to for anyone who is big on him) is tempting, is he worth an add? Im not quite sure who I would drop but if he picks it up I could try and trade Jeter.

Brian McCann (Atl - C)/Pablo Sandoval (SF - C)
Derrek Lee (ChC - 1B)
Aaron Hill (Tor - 2B)
Evan Longoria (TB - 3B)/Chipper Jones (Atl - 3B)
Derek Jeter (NYY - SS)
Josh Hamilton (Tex - OF)
Carlos Lee (Hou - OF)
Matt Holliday (Oak - OF)
Alphonso Soriano (ChC - OF)

Zack Greinke (KC - SP)
Yovani Gallardo (Mil - SP)
Jon Lester (BOS - SP)
Ted Lilly (ChC - SP)
Gil Meche (KC - SP)
Kyle Lohse (StL - SP)
Chris Carpenter (StL - SP) DL
José Valverde (Hou - RP)
Francisco Cordero (Cin - RP)
Heath Bell (SD - RP)
Matt Lindstrom (Fla - RP)

Lohse would be the one I'd drop if you really want to add Tulo as insurance. I'm not sure I'd make that move yet.

Yeah i'd actually stay put for the time being. Mccann could have trouble adjusting with his new glasses, and sandoval can straight up mash. Jeter will be/is fine. Stand pat man

I'd definitely pick up Tulo and dump Lohse, no question. His plus-power potential at SS still makes him valuable.

You don't need insurance for Jeter, stay where you are.

I think Tulo's slow start shouldn't scare you away. I'd take him as insurance and start him over Jeter.

Don't drop Sandoval. Pick up Tulo and drop Lohse. Tulo's potential help is worth letting go of a mediocre pitcher.

good luck
