MAKE IT A BLOCKBUSTER NIGHT

Postby Nails86 » Fri May 08, 2009 10:17 pm

Well it's Friday night, I'm sippin on some brews (not too many because I'm working out in the AM) but I have been offered a blockbuster here buddies. Let me know what you think. 5X5 Roto, last year of a keeper.

I have been offered: Cole Hamels, Carlos Quentin, and Wandy FOR Halladay Nolasco and Scherzer

What the HELL do you guys think about this?

Hate to give up Roy but I think I am getting nice value here with another ace coming back, a 30 HR 100 RBI guy and Wandy who is breaking through apparently. Was Ricky a one year wonder and Scherzer is iffy.

Leave a link and I'll help you out!

I assume that Quentin is the Carlos Quentin who plays for the White Sox?

You could use some help in the OF and you could survive the hit in pitching, but it always pains me to see a great player like Halladay traded away.

Tough deal - but i think I would pull the trigger. Any way you can pull it off w/ out giving up Scherzer?

hey I like it, the best player is Halladay, but Hamels can be that good, Quentin is a top tier player struggling and it maybe just be the right time to get him, Wandy and Nolasco/Sherzer are a wash, throw ins if you will, unless Nolasco really turns it around I dont think this is to bad of a deal.

Like the trade for you. Hamels looking like his old self, Quentin would immediately upgrade the offense and Rodriguez is for real. Roy Halladay and Cole Hamels are almost a wash and Nolasco looks like a one year wonder.

Please hlep with mine.
