Easy killer. Trusting a Yankee, and trust Phil Hughes are two different matters completely.
Hughes had a lifetime ERA of 5.02ish (over 5) against Baltimore heading into the game, so this is really no surprise. Tie in the fact that Hughes has a world of pressure on his shoulders right now with all of New York talking about "send Joba back to the bullpin, Hughes is our guy," it's no wonder the 22 year old can't pitch. Fact, Hughes fastball is straight as an arrow, and when he pitches under pressure he likes to leave it up. Fact, Hughes did not make for a good start yesterday, even if he was facing Eaton.
Cheers,
