Kind of a long post, but I will answer all of yours in response. Need to get 10 responses here for the bet to stand. Trying to settle an argument with my leaguemate, so let me know which side of this deal you prefer. I picked one side, he picked the other and we leave it to you, fantasy cafe. The representative of the side you choose gets their lunch for free today!
Lance Berkman, Jermaine Dye,Scott Kazmir------------------Justin Upton, Adrian Gonzalez, Yovanni Gallardo. 10 team keeper league.
This all stemmed from this argument- the Hanley owner in our league offered him up- one of us proposed-
J Upton, Gonzo, Gallardo for Liriano and Hanley
the other proposed
Berkman, Dye, Kazmire for Liriano, Hanley, and Chipper
Which of those is a better offer to the Hanley owner?
I think the Hanley owner is getting fleeced either way. That said, I want the Gallardo, Upton, Gonzo side because of upside alone.
Postby Neato Torpedo » Thu May 05, 2011 4:19 pm Only 3 HR and a .143 ISO from a first baseman in 118 AAA PA so far? Nice AVG but he's looking an awful lot like James Loney right now.

I gotta agree with the crown. The Hanley owner's best move is no move. However, between the two trades I'd say that the Upton/Gallardo/Gonzo deal is clearly better.
This was tough, because of course, just like everybody else I think the best move is no move.
However, I'm gonna be different and pick berkman, dye, and kazmir. Berkman is still a top 10 first basemen, even though he didn't necessarily start the season off like it. Dye has good production left, and kazmir is just plain filthy when that slider is on.
