This is Wandy's year to shine. Think Ervin Santana last year (splits improved with each), and his K's will go up as the season progresses. If you can get him, do it. He's finally learned how to pitch with some consistency.

He still has glaring home/away splits, just he's been lights out at home and still good on the road. Ervin was terrible on the road in '07 and his road ERA was a run better than his home ERA in '08.

Wandy is still a good pick though, I love having guy that you can reliable spot start and only get the great starts.

Amazed how many people didn't realize how good he was last year. 131 K in 137 IP, 3.54 ERA and 1.31 WHIP despite a .312 babip... basically a solid fantasy #2 for 2/3 of a season, yet he was drafted like he was some sort of sleeper.

I drafted him late in a few leagues. I liked his chances to perform if he could stay healthy and so far, so good. But it's only May so he has 4 months left to go.

The wheels have fallen off since the last update. 4 of his last 5 starts have been awful. I've reverted back to my original plan, starting Wandy in home starts only, and was able to avoid the 3 destructions on the road.

His home ratios are 2.15/1.07 and his road ratios are 4.78/1.70. Until further notice, he's unusable away from Minute Maid to me.
