Where does Chris Carpenter stand in terms of recovery? How soon is he expected back? When he got injured there was a wide window when he was expected to be back. Is he going to be on the short or long side of that estimation?

set to pitch off mound next tuesday. he should be back in the shorter of the 4-8 weeks.
