I would love to grab Tex before he heats up. Could I do B.J. Upton straight up for Tex, or should I throw in Branyan?

I would offer Branyan as well to have a better shot at the deal. Upton's current below .200 avg is not attractive at all....

Upton and Branyan should be pretty good.
If he declines that, then move on.

you're gonna have to add more than Upton. I dont think many managers would accept that deal straight up
