Yahoo trades with DL players

So I know that if you have a player occupying the DL spot who isn't actually on the DL in real life, you aren't able to add/drop players. Can you make trades though?

Nope, I just ran into this problem last week. I was carrying Mora who was on the DL, and I made a 2 for 1 trade so that I wouldn't have to drop anyone, but it wouldn't process until I dropped someone and took him off the DL.

I thought I ran into this last year and was told it would not work.
But then it went through ok.

Maybe it's something they've changed/fixed.

I know the other DL trick has been changed. You used to be able to play a guy on the day he came off the DL, and then before the midnight deadline go to the next day and put them back onto the DL.

I was still able to do this a few weeks ago with Scherzer.
