Hey Guys..I grabbed big Z right before he was returning, hoping that bullpen implosion might get him the closer job again. Not yet...maybe still, but not yet. What Im trying to determine is whether or not its worth running him out there anyway sometimes. If he throws 3-5 almost perfect innings/week, w/1 or Ks per inning, w/an occasional or even rare save or win....then isnt he better than a #5 starter w/ a so-so or rough matchup who's not striking people out much anyway? I figure 2 cats would be solid, K's would be almost as good as a weak 1 start guy, and the win or save column will be an unlikely crapshoot. Hows my logic here? Anyone agree, or use the same strategy w/great middle men, even in a no holds league? WHIR...leave a link...thanks!!!
