Holliday / Nolasco trade..WHIR!

Postby monty797 » Thu May 07, 2009 12:06 pm

So I'm looking to upgrading part of my starting pitching in a 24 team dynasty league. With 24 teams, 5 sp slots and a deep bench, starting pitching is extremely hard to get, young starting pitching is almost impossible. As you can see by my rotation, I could stand a bit of help. Now by most standards I have a fairly deep rotation, though it is not a blow away rotation by any means.

I like my OF, though it is struggling right now. I do have some depth here but like I said, its a struggling bunch.

My starting rotation consists of

Josh Beckett
Scott Baker
Ubaldo Jimenez
Brandon Looper
Eric Stults / Chan Ho Park / Sidney Ponson / Chad Gaudin

My OF consists of

Jermaine Dye
Jeremy Hermida
Magg's
Matt Holliday
Matt Joyce
Lastings Milledge
Ben Zobrist - he plays when I can get him in the lineup.

The deal proposed to me consists of me getting Nolasco and Chris Young (of) and giving up Scott Baker + Matt Holliday.

Now I know that Holliday has the best track record though he is off to a bad struggle. I do have some depth and have good minors depth available.

Do you do this trade?

No way.

Holliday is on Oakland now, sure, but they likely will not be able to afford him after this year - or even the all star-break.

He is trying to steal Holliday from you.
