I have been offered Soto and DeRosa for Nelson Cruz
I could drop Beimel or John Baker to accept this deal
I image DeRosa would spend much of his time on my bench or in the outfield with the way that Hill and Longoria are playing for me
Should I make this deal to essentially get me Soto and will he turn around?

I probably make this deal except I would try someone other than Derosa. Soto is a top catcher and the whole Cubs team is struggling. He'll turn it around. If you can't get someone other than Derosa I say do it.
Please help with my CC, David Price, Shields post.
Thanks

As is, I'd do the trade. But like the poster above said, see if you can nab someone better than DeRosa.

The deal is basically Soto for Nelson Cruz...with that said, I'd make the trade givin your needs. or I'd try and package your catcher and cruz and go after Mauer or Martin...

Tough call here for me. Love Soto, but... With the decent numbers Bakers putting up for a catcher I think I like Cruz's power numbers in your lineup. Plus Once Hamilton gets mashing again Cruz's #s may stand to jump up even further. Also TEX isn't exactly giving your team the help it needs thus far ....

I would make this trade, I am a big Cruz fan and I think he will provide you with consistant power for the rest of the season.
