Am i giving up too much for Pujols? Im starting to feel like I'm a bit heavy on speed, I have 45sb's already this season and the next best team in that cat has 29 My power numbers have been marginal. Ok to squeak me by most weeks but not where i'd like them. Getting Pujols would be huge though. Any ideas?? 12 team h2h 5x5 OBP instead of AVG 8 keepers C Baker (Mcann DL) 1B Howard 2B Utley 3B Figgins SS Reyes OF CLee,Kemp,Abreu UT Votto BN Cust,Reynolds SP Lincecum,Johnson,Webb(DL),Sanchez RP Broxton,Francisco,Gonzalez,Franklin BN: Jimenez,Wolf,Zimmermann His Roster: C Martin 1B Pujols 2B Roberts 3B Aram SS Tejada OF Bay,Dunn,Ibanez UT Hill BN Andrus,AJones SP Harden,Lee,Zambrano,Millwood,Washburn RP Wood,Percival BN JeWeaver,Penny,BJRyan,Arroyo DL Smoltz

for starters, why don't you start Mark Reynolds for some power right there and try to move Figgins? i would not want to try and trade for Pujols because the price will be too high and you will have to dismantle your offense

This manager has been after Reyes for years, thats why i think there's a possibility that I could land Pujols for less than "market" value
Would the above trade really be dismantling my offence?
I've thought about trading Figgins but his value isn't where it should be right now.
I should not be having nights like this with this lineup:
3/31 0R 0HR 1RBI 1SB

Value-wise, the trade is great.
However - Figgins will be forced to the bench unless I am mistaken.
As such - why not try trading him for an SP? Or packaging him with Votto for a stud hitter to slide into your Util.
OR
Figgins and Tejada for a top tier SS...sure you just gave up Reyes - but try going for Hanley.
An infield of Pujols, Utley, Aramis and Hanley is just absurd.

I agree, I like this trade for you, but it kinda leaves Figgins without a home...
thanks for helping with mine

I like this trade ok, but Tejada is garbage.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

Pujols is a beast and will put up monster numbers this season...so obviously having him on your team is a major plus...but I would be worried about starting Tejada at shortstop all year. If you can find a better shortstop or a servicable backup, I would do this trade. You could start Ramirez at third and you have figgins if those injuries come back.
