I don't really like Young because I think he is a Mike Cameron type player. But he was drafted in the 13th round in my league and was just dropped. I've been saving my claim since the first week, I was hoping for a MI to be dropped, but nothing happened yet. Should I use my claim? 10 team 5x5 roto: Re-draft, EVERYONE STARTS EXCEPT 6 RESERVES C:Ianetta,Mauer 1B:Howard 2B:O-dawg 3B:A-ram SS:Tejada MI:A.Cabrera CI:Chipper OF:Hamilton,Holliday,Hart,Victorino,Drew U:Hideki Matsui SP:Kazmir,Vazquez,Cain,Big-Unit,Edwin Jackson RP:Lindstrom,Gregg,Aardsma,Ray Reserves: A-rod,Dexter Fowler Reserves: Lackey,Carpenter,Big Z

Don't use the #1waiver on Young. I would what it out longer in the season for a better option. Young is decent but not #1 waiver quality. Thanks for the help with mine!

I agree, let Young slide through. You're fine in the OF department. Holliday will pick up, Hamilton will be back soon enough. Thanks for the input on mine.

Don't do it. He'll probably clear, but if he doesn't, I don't think he's worth #1. In a 10-team league, someone better (or more necessary to your team) will probably along.
Please help in return:

In a 10 teamer I'm not even sure I'd pick him up after he clears the way he is playing now and his low ceiling with regards to avg.

Going with the consensus here and don't think you should pick him up. Somewhere down the road, someone else may become available or a prospect becomes eligible which would be much more worth of the #1 waiver priority.
