Need to drop 1 of 3 DL pitchers

Postby Haiglebomb » Wed May 06, 2009 5:41 pm

I'm in a super-competitive 12x12 keeper H2H league, and I'm having serious DL issues. 3 SPs on the DL will kill your chances at winning 4 categories on a weekly basis. So I need to drop one of these 3, but I can find rationale for keeping each of them. Here are my thoughts on who to drop and why:
Hiroki Kuroda: Oblique strain with no set timetable for return. Yikes.
Ricky Romero: Great start, great pedigree. Oblique again. Yikes.
Rich Hill: He's almost back from a back issue. If he regains '07 form, he'll be nasty. But who knows which Rich we'll get?

Glen Perkins, Dave Bush and Gavin Floyd are all available on the wire, but each of those guys have their own issues. Bottom line, should I drop any of the three I have? And if so, which of the three available should I pick up?

I'd drop Rich Hill, definitly. Even if he regains 2007 form he still has to face the AL East.
