His Kendrick, Braun, Soria, & Valverde for my Hill, Ibanez, Lindstrom, and Volquez.
I am currently in first place by a game and have a 9-1 lead this week but it is early. Do I Do this trade?
This is my take on this. It will be hard to trade Volquez due to how good he has been. But, I think he may be overperforming, but I could be wrong. I have Phillips where I would put him in to 2b, and braun to fill in for Ibanez, and I get to add some major depth to the bullpen to help in saves, era, whip, Ks all that good stuff. I figure I can drop or trade Howie. I have ARod coming back and would throw him in the Utility spot and I could try trading Howie and Cantu for a pitcher or something. I think I win in this deal. Should I push accept?

I'd say nay. I don't like the closers you'd get, and I think Ibanez is in for an awesome season. The Reds are looking sharper than normal this year, so I wouldn't count on a Volquez collapse, though he has been overperforming.
Basically, I think there is just too much risk to pull the trigger on such a big trade like this. There are too many question marks on too many players. If your team build is working without the killer bullpen, maybe that's the strat to stick with.
Hey thanks for the help with mine! Your team is stacked and you don't have any major issues that need to be addressed. I like this trade since it gets your Braun and Soria, however you would losing with Valverde and Kendrick. Ibanez has been playing incredibly and I have no reason to think he will come crashing back to earth since he has been a very solid player for most of his career, just never got the recognition for it playing in small markets. The biggest upgrade is with Soria since Lindstrom sucks. I would ask if the guy can give you someone better than Valverde preferably a starter since you are giving him Volquez.
Ah ok, well I doubt he would give you Burnett possibly Sanchez. I mean this trade is not going to improve your team that much, the biggest thing is that you would upgrade Soria>Lindstrom. At the end of the season the difference in Braun and Ibanez won't be huge. It really comes down to if you think you can afford to lose Volquez.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Volquez is the real deal imo, and Ibanez is going to have a huge year (I still can't believe how low he got drafted). Yes Braun is the best player in the deal, but the top 3 players that you are giving away, are way too much for Braun, and to me it just feels like you are just buying closers that you don't need, since you already have jenks and broxton. INSTA REJECT IMO.
I can't believe people are telling you to turn this deal down
You are getting the best player in the deal BY FAR in Braun along with a top 5 closer. You have decent pitching depth so can afford to give up volquez. Ibanez is good. He'll have good numbers at year end but no where near Braun's
