Anyone have a way to look at the totals for this 1st month vs the totals for the 1st month over the last few years? Seems like guys are running a lot more.

There were 402 SB and 152 CS in 25061 PAs in April this year.
There were 520 SB and 199 CS in 32422 PAs in April last year.
There were 423 SB and 155 CS in 28751 PAs in April in 2007.
So in 2009 there has been 1 attempt per 45.2 PA
In 2008 there was 1 per 45.1 PA
In 2007 there was 1 per 49.7 PA
Doesn't seem much different than in past years.

It's just that Fowler has a full time job, so it seems like more than it is.

Also those stats are actually March+April and last year we had those early games in Japan added to the mix as well as opening day being on the last day of March that year.
