How does this Sizemore trade sound?

Postby bcbhockey68 » Wed May 06, 2009 1:53 am

Would Pedroia and Grandy get me Sizemore and Weeks? I passed on Sizemore for Braun and I really don't want that to come back and bit me, and if this trade happens I would just trade zimmy for Gallardo or a Cain type pitcher to solidify my staff for the year, hows that sound?

Personally, I think it's fair. I'm not a fan of Weeks at all. To me, Granderson is like Sizemore Lite.

In fact, I think I'd rather have Pedroia and Granderson over Sizemore and Weeks. (serious)

It's just that i'm trying compact my keepers so if like a Justin Upton breaks out or I get a pitcher like Gallardo that tears it up I'm not stuck with only keeping one (project) because if I stay pat my keepers are going to be Pedroia, Grandy, Tex, and Braun, and that only leaves me with one option and there are no pitchers and I think I need to keep one to two picthers IMO, if that makes any sense at all.

It does make sense. In my league there are only 8 keepers. And like you, I have plenty of bats as keepers (M-Cab, Howard, Braun, Hamilton,Pedroia) and not much in the way of Pitchers as Keepers.

So, if you want to get a pitcher ... have that other manager throw in a valuable pitcher instead of Weeks.

As it is right now, I think you're giving up too much for Sizemore.

Help!!!!!!!!!

What if Adam Wainright (or however you spell his last name) was thrown in the deal because I could really use the pitching?
