Alex Rios? WHIR

Postby battles » Tue May 05, 2009 11:47 pm

I'm currently in a 10 team h2h league, 5x5 scoring. Anyways, someone dropped Alex Rios recently, and I'm wondering if he's a definite pickup? I'm looking to drop Bartlett or Posada for him.

Another question, is it worth stashing Smoltz or Escobar on my DL? Thanks.

Yes, I would grab him. If you already have a catcher drop Posada, if not then drop Bartlett.

You must be in a pretty weak league for someone to drop Rios.

You shouldn't really have to ask, he is a must add even if you had the numero uno waiver priority.

I'd drop Bartlett for him unless Bartlett is your starter by some unfortunate circumstance

LOL

Barlett is having a pretty good year so far though.

Fluke?

Haven't heard anyone discussing him.

I'd drop Bartlett for him. I think Bartlett was just way hot in a cold month, so he stood out. He's steals are strong, and they'll stay formidable. He's just not going to hit for average forever.

Like the other poster said, if you have another catcher dump Posada (or just put him on the DL and open up a free roster spot,) or I would drop Bartlett. Rios is better than both of these guys and the real question is why the hell would you drop him?

Help with mine?
