2 years he could be awesome but he still has alot to work on.
i disagree very much w/ your statement. endurance has a lot to do w/ most all aspects of pitching, including throwing strikes. what do you think happens when you get tired cause your not used to throwing "X" amount of innings? when pitchers get tired in the end of a game cause of a lack of endurance, what do they do? i don't think they throw better and stay in the game. endurance can effect your mechanics, where you want to throw the ball, etc. ever been tired and tried to throw the ball were you want? it gets harder and does effect were you want to throw it.

Endurance has A LOT to do with performance. The guy simply ran outta gas last year.

If he was throwing strikes early on and then in the 6th or 7th stopped, then you would have a point, but he was wild from his first inning to his last.He is not ready to be a 3 4 or 5 starter.

nothing you said makes any sense. are you saying that endurance only effects you later on in a game? if so your wrong, it will effect you in the later part of the season just as much, if you haven't built up enough endurance. also he has torched the minors, there is no reason for him to go back down unless he has continued struggles later on this year.

Not many young pitchers go into the 7th inning consistently -- they waste too many pitches.
I echo what the other guy said, endurance plays a huge part with the SEASON. Endurance extends furthur than going 6th/7th inning in a particular game.
