my Bay for his Kemp

Postby OnceinDC2\1 » Tue May 05, 2009 10:54 pm

Ok, he also wants rich hill thrown in who actually hasn't struggled with control at AAA, but I am thinking it might not be an awful move. Bay has been going off while Kemp has been slumping lately. My starting pitching is pretty deep, I was keeping Hill as a trade chip should he come back and pitch decently. What do you guys think of this move? For the record, I am dead last in steals though the category is fairly tight.

leave a thread if I can help in return.

I definitely like Bay more than Kemp. I'd see if there is any way you can get steals cheaper than Kemp..

Your team kind of sucks for a 12-team roto. If you're up for moving Bay try to get some infield upgrades, you're mediocre at each slot. Kemp ain't worth it anyhow, he could end up being more of a Hart than a Soriano - Bay is proven and in his prime, with a great lineup around him.

Keep him you need that OF production to steady your inconsistant INF. Try to package Dunn/Davis/Bay for another 1b like Dunn (Pena) a 3b upgrade (Longoria, buy low on Wright/Arod) or Aramis. If you get Aramis then shoot for good young SP or a steady vet like Lowe to give you some insurance to your rotation.
