I've always felt John Smotlz's motion is perfect. Fluid and smooth and then the ball comes out at 95mph.

I think Maddux had an exceptional delivery, which was more than likely the primary contributor to his healthy career. He did an excellent job of rotating his hips before his shoulders and keeping his elbow below his shoulders.
