When Rollins starts to play at little bit better I'm thinking of going after Sizemore, so how is this trade?
My Pedroia, Rollins, Choo for his Sizemore, Weeks, and Tejeda?

I think you should address your major weakness.....starting pitching. I would not look to shake up your team that much so early in the season, I think if you could get 1 or 2 more solid starters you would be in great shape. I also think that Rollins will bounce back very soon and when its all said and done he will have similar numbers to Sizemore at the end of the year, so you really won't be gaining anything significant.
Yeah but I really like Sizemore's potential to be a 40-40 or a least a 30-40 guy in the future and Rollins is on the decline. If I could swing Lackey in the deal would you be a fan (for some one else, help me put together a nice deal)?
I mean like I said, it's not a "bad" trade it just doesn't really address your main issue, the SP. If you got Lackey it would certainly be an improvement. I would cancel the Pedroia for Weeks portion of the deal, just go with Rollins/Choo for Sizemore/Tejada, and then find out who he would want for Lackey, try and get him as cheap as possible since he hasn't even pitched yet this season.
I may be a complete idiot, but I'm just one of those guys that thinks he doesn't need a solid staff to win because there are always the guys, like Volquez or Cliff lees, that pop up during the middle of the season and then there are the Peavys or Bedards that you spend a top pick on them to have them sit on the DL.
I agree that you don't have to have a star studded staff, however he only has 1 really solid SP, (Vasquez,) Oswalt is not what he once was and the rest of the guys are young players with upside but who knows if they can put together a good full season? He needs another guy who he can rely on to provide quality starts, someone with a winning track record.
I agree that is why it is going to be really hard to pull Lackey from him, and if I do do this trade there is always Granderson to pull in a pitcher like King Felix or Webb while he is on the DL (one guys team that needs OF really bad), so if I do this trade I can always move someone to get a SP later, do you agree?
