He still hasnt played. At this rate, he won't make the team. I know he wasn't guaranteed, but hey, it would answer some leadoff problems if this guy performs like he should. I'm sure when he finally does come up, he'll bat 7th or 8th. But if Cedeno slacks off, you never know.

thanks for the article, but I'm more concerned with his current health issues..I believe its a quad pull.

sorry that was a little off topic but I haven't heard anything lately about his quad. Hopefully if it was serious we would be hearing something so maybe no news is good news. In my opinion he will be in AAA most if not all of this year. I will try to find out more about his injury.

thanks..this means he definately will start with tidewater...(is the AAA team still tidewater?)oh well, hope to see him in september..

Jose Reyes played today and went 1-for-2 with a single. Hope they show him on Sportscenter tonite................

Running at 85-90 percent is a good sign for him. He will probably be in Norfolk to start the season, but we wil probably see him this year at some point.

After the injury last year and now again this year is anyone starting to get worried about him???

I'm worried that he might miss more time than I bargained for, but I also feel he'll get enough games in to be productive, though I wouldn't want him as my starter.

I like the fact that the Mets are bringing him back slowly this time. The last thing needed would be a Griffey-like injury situation.
