Hi,
I play in a Yahoo 5x5 10 team league. My team is lacking in a few categories and I have Mauer off the DL.
I was thinking of offering a someone who has J. Buck as a Catcher and Doumit on the DL til July: Mauer, Markakis, Huff for M. Cabrera. Then sticking with Napoli and hope he gets DH time.
What do you guys think of this? I'm not that great at judging trade values and don't want to lowball the other guy.
Thanks for the help.
My team is:
C: Mauer
1B: Fielder
2B: Uggla
3B: Cantu
SS: J. Reyes
OF: Beltran
OF: Markakis
OF: Matt Kemp
Util: Adam Jones
BN: Aubrey Huff
BN: Napoli
P: Billingsley
P: G. Floyd
P: Dempster
RP: Hoffman
RP: H. Bell
P: Kershaw
BN: D. Price
DL: Morrow

thanks for the help on mine
i actually think you are giving up way too much here as you are moving a top 5 C, top 10-15 OF, and an incredibly solid player for a top 3 3B/top 2 1B
if you really want MCab i might try something like huff or cantu and markakis for MCab
not a lowball offer persay, but you are winning in the value dept there...you could even move napoli in that deal since you dont really need him either

You're definitely giving up too much in that trade. Try to do it with just Mauer and Huff, since you think C is his big point of weakness... There is no way I'd be giving up a top 3-5 C, top 10 OF, and top 15ish CI for a top 3 3B/1B... Don't go crazy on the first offer, it's too much...
Thanks for looking a mine.

Thanks for the help.
I offered him, Mauer, Markakis and Huff for M.Cab and CC instead. See if he'll bite. I'm sure he'll counter, but CC seemed the most attainable of his pitchers worth trading for.
