Ankiel just ran head first into the wall making an amazing catch. I would not be shocked if it was season ending or even career ending, it was very very ugly.

Yeah, it was nasty. Did NOT look good. Hope he is ok, but it was good to see him moving his upper body when they carted him off the field.

Saw that, and i did cringe that was a freakishly nasty play... freakish as he had caught the ball and stumbled on the dirt on the warn track and all of his weight fell head first into the wall... hit so far it bent the bill of his hat in a V... i dunno about a season ending injury tho, have seen some real nasty licks in baseball and he had movement in all limbs and everything im guessing just a really wicked concussion... would be surprised if hes gone for the season let alone his career, Ankiel is a tough guy... im not gonna take away from how ugly that did look tho...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

"Ankiel runs into wall" won't fit it as a topic. I'm going to remake it

Looks like he is going to be ok and is just day to day. That is one of the scarier looking injuries I've seen so I'm glad he is ok.
Here is a clip of it.
