obviously i'm in desperate need of sp, and i believe my offense is fairly strong already(although another player goes down every single day). pretty much just would you take this deal if you were me, as i've been searching for SP help in SU deals but can't seem to find any takers right now.

OF-McClouth,Abreu,Span
Util-H.Kendrick

DL-B.McCann,J.Hamilton

SP-Nolasco,Cueto,Blackburn,Duke,Parra-any spot starter(did i say i needed sp?)

The thing that you need to consider here is who you would drop once you make the deal happen. Remember, since Hamilton is on the DL, he's not taking up a roster spot for you, and when those 2 guys are coming over, they will each need their spot. The question in, do you need the OF help all that much? I'd think that you can trade some depth for a starter, and consider scouring the wire for a bit before making a move. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the other team knows you need the starter badly, and is trying to swing a deal before you make another move to land an SP.

Help out:

I love this trade for you. Lackey should be legit when he comes back and Manny is Manny :-D

It's odd but I agree. Your SP could use a boost and Lackey would provide that more so than FA pitchers. Who are your best available FA SP's btw?

I don't see this as close. Cano is having an allstar season in a hitters ballpark, no reason to believe he slows down.
As for Lackey he's been hurt on and off for the past two seasons, you could do much better then Lackey for Cano.
Hamilton and Manny are a wash

pitching is HIGHLY overvalued in my league and in the draft, which is why i ended up with nearly nothing. tbh i don't think i could swing cano for lackey SU.

As an Angels fan and a Cano owner I could never imagine dealing Cano for the injured John Lackey. Lackeys a solid fantasy pitcher but Cano has the potential to be an elite fantasy player. at 30 yrs old and injury concerns Lackey's best years are behind him. Atleast aim for a healthy pitcher. I'd rather have a Matt Cain esc player.
