Greinke for Soto, Abreu, and Duke? WHIR!!!

I am in a head to head ten team keeper league on Yahoo! which uses these stats R, H, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, W, CG, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB.

Another owner has offered me a trade consisting of Zack Greinke going from my team to his team in exchange for Geovany Soto, Bobby Abreu, and Zach Duke. Should I accept the deal?

I know that Soto in the long run will probably be better than Napoli and that he's just struggling right now, but I think I can survive with Napoli until Wieters gets called up. I know Abreu is also a pretty good outfielder but I don't know if he'd be a step up from anyone I already have. Also, I question Duke's ability to maintain his current success.

Right now, I'm leaning towards no but would like to hear from others in regards to the trade. Thanks for your help. Leave a link.

It's a very good offer but I would decline. Duke sucks and will come back down to earth soon. Having soto and Abreu would be nice but I dont think they are that much of upgrades above what you have already at those positions. Greinke looks like he could be a top 5 starter this year. Although it is a fair deal I don't think it fits your needs. Dont do it.

Definitely not.

I actually like Duke for what he is, but IMO will end up not being much more than a waiver wire pick up. I think Soto is good but maybe not as good as projected, and as for Abreu, there is already talk of him having a bad back, and even if stays healthy, I don't think he will keep up his SB pace, his main value.

As for Greinke, I don't think this is a sell-high case...I think he is this good, and his improving KC team may help him get a respectable amount of W's.

value wise it's a nice deal, but it does not help your team since you have Napoli and Victorino among others in the OF

Nope.. you don't have a need for Abreu and Napoli is a solid Catching option. If you are going to move Greinke it should be for a clear upgrade to your team.
