Ok, so I haven't actually proposed a trade yet but I was thinking about building a trade around Dan Haren and Tim Lincecum. Lincecum obviously isn't playing as well as he could be, and I'm kind of concerned that Dan Haren won't keep up his current run of great performances, so I am trying to get as much for Haren as I can, do you guys agree?

I don't think he would do a 1-for-1, so I was thinking of an adding one my outfielders to the trade, because once Vlad comes back, I'll have trouble with choosing whether to use Swisher, Fukudome, or Guillen in my flex spot. If I add one of them I think it would help with that log jam problem. Which one of them do you guys think is the best one to trade high?

Any other suggestions are always welcome, any help is appreciated.

i would def try to get as much as you can out of it. It tough to decide which of you OF to throw in also,i would lean more towards putting guillen in with the deal but its really a toss up between those three.

Adding one of Swisher, Fukudome, or Guillen is not going to get your Lincecum with Haren. Those guys are guys who may or may not end up on the waiver wire in deeper leagues this season. If for some reason it WILL get you Lincecum, however, I'd be all for it. Neither of them is going to make your or break your team whereas Lincecum potentially makes your team a world beater in the Strikeout Category.

Skones is right, those guys won't help. If you really want Lincecum, toss in Vlad, or perhaps Vlad and one of your other pitchers instead of Haren. Keep in mind you're not gaining all that much trading Haren for Lincecum; I'd hold onto Haren for a while, let him really pad his stats and then move him around the all-star break before he has his annual drop-off.
