I dropped Scott Richmond for Brandon Webb...but....

I'm in a 12 team yahoo league, H2H, non-keeper.
Lots of stats;
R, H, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, K, A, AVG, SLAM
W, CG, SHO, SV, K, GIDP, SVOP, ERA, WHIP, NH, PG, NSV

Some dude dropped Brandon Webb. I understand that he is out for up to six weeks, maybe longer. I grabbed him, and dropped Scott Richmond. But, now I'm thinking that I should of kept Richmond, since he is 4-0 on the season.

What would you guys do.....if I were to drop a player for Richmond, it would either be Reynolds or Schafer. So far, I'm in 2nd place. My batting stats are pretty good even though Rollins is getting off to a bad start.

FYI - McCann was also dropped by the same guy, so I picked him up as well. Not sure if the manager has no patience, but I'm hoping these pick-ups will pay off in the long run. I had the 11th waiver number, and I still got Webb......nobody else wanted him, which I found kind of suprising.

LOL no you did the right thing.....there is no reason Webb should ever be available unless he is out for the season. You have to drop any pitcher outside of the top tier guys in order to pick him up. Webb is an ace and once he returns healthy he should be considered one of the best pitchers in baseball. No matter if Richmond was pitching like Bob Gibson he is a nobody while Webb has a tremendous track record and is a proven winner.

I know what you mean.

I was going to drop out of this league because the commish changed the scoring setup after the draft. It was a simple 5X5 scoring.

But good thing I didn't drop out because so far my team is producing and this one guys is an idiot.
