Trying to get Sizemore?

Postby bcbhockey68 » Mon May 04, 2009 3:23 pm

Any chance I could get Sizemore preferably without trading Braun or Tex? Or should I just stand pat and try to make a deal for him at the end of the season when we pick our keepers because I wouldn't totally mind giving Tex then because I could draft a good 1st basemen, and I don't want to play with garbage at 1st this season (that is why I went after Tex in a trade)?

I would consider trading Rollins because despite his lackluster production, he still has a lot of value. Maybe you could trade Granderson and Rollins for Tejada and Sizemore. But looking at your team right now I think I would hold off on a trade. Granderson is strong as is Braun. Hawpe is off to a good start as well and could get you 100 RBI.
Help would be appreciated.

Yeah I just got Rollins so I probably won't deal him right away and I could deal him and Grandy later for SIzemore if I still want him. I think I will hold off on trades until after the season or if I'm out of contention because I think I've assembled a pretty good roster that gives me lots of options and a good chance to win the league. I just am trying to get him because I passed on him in the draft to take Braun and I really don't want that to come back to haunt me.

I'm just brain storming here but I'm really liking this trade my Oswalt, Vasquez, Pedroia, and Rollins for his Tejeda, Weeks, Santana, and Sizemore? I'm I crazy or does this really help my team now and defenitely in the long run?
