Everybody is benchable.

If you look hard enough there is ALWAYS someone out there for a short-term spin while your mainstay figures out their problems.

That's funny, most the time people say "never bench studs".

No idea how I didn't see Peralta's name in this thread.

Yep, was just reading through to see if anyone had dropped it.
Very painful 1st month from Jhonny, and now he's been dropped down in the order.

He did start off fairly slow BA wise last year (.225 in April and .230 in May), however at least the power #'s were there (5 in April and 6 in May)

you expected Bradley to suck? Sure, we knew he was gonna be injured part of the time, but I expected him to hit when he was healthy.

Not as bad as many of your situations, but One Hanley Ramirez is getting on my nerves more and more.

Phillips
Rollins
Holliday
Nolasco
Sabathia

Phillips, Rollins and Holliday were all picked in round 4 or higher - which is especially tough.

Nick Swisher and Carlos Pena have helped out quite a bit, but still, I sit in 11th place - out of 12.

I still maintain that it is slow starts that have left me where I am.

Maybe it's my team. Who knows.

My pitching staff (Josh Beckett, Jake Peavy, Justin Verlander, Jon Lester, Carlos Marmol)
Matt Holliday (.233 average is not suffice)
Chris Iannetta (luckily 4 of his 9 hits are humeruns)
Jimmy Rollins (doing better)

If I didn't have Zack Greinke, Heath Bell and Carlos Pena i'd be screwed. Those guys are basically ringers at this point.

Alexei Ramirez. I was expecting more than ...

7 R 1 HR 10 RBI 5 SB .210

Five SBs is OK, but the rest reeks. :-[
