And Gathright is going to the minors, the path for Nolan is clearing up.

I haven't heard anything on the sports radio's around here on this yet (granted it happened yesterday) but here's what news from yahoo on Scott is

OF/DH Luke Scott left Sunday's game with a bruised left shoulder, suffered while diving back to first base after singling in his first at-bat. Scott, who was replaced by Ty Wigginton, said after the game he "hyperextended" a rotator cuff muscle and was unable to swing a bat or lift his arm. He wore a sling and will go for an MRI on Monday's off-day.
(Yahoo! Sports)

The only other thing to worry/think about w/ this is: Rich Hill. We are struggling w/ our pitching and Hill just completed a 95 pitch effort in Triple A. So I'm thinking he should/will come up first.

But back to Nolan. Montenuez is there now (doing "alright") but the O's are trying to pass Pie through waivers to send him to the minors (who wants to take a waiver on him anyways), so I guess that's more fire for the Reimold call-up.

I see him coming up w/in the next 2 weeks (call it a local intuition)

Good point about Hill, although I'm willing to bet he walks his way back to the minors.

I'd rather have Nolan come up for good, rather than him being treated like Brandon Wood or Matt LaPorta. I have high hopes and I'm not even an Os fan.

2 weeks it is...

From Rotoworld

Peter Schmuck of the Baltimore Sun writes that he "can't really think of a scenario in which" Luke Scott avoids the disabled list.
Scott left Sunday's game with a shoulder injury and was scheduled for an MRI on Monday. The results should give us all a better picture of what's going on, but Schmuck is as close to the team as anyone in the industry. He seems to think calling up first baseman Oscar Salazar would make the most sense.

Now I looked at this guys numbers and they aren't impressive at all. I was just wondering am I missing something why would they call this guy up instead of Noland. :-{

This on Yahoo... From RotoWorld yesterday.

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com May 11, 1:04 pm EDT

Update: Reimold could be called up if Luke Scott(notes) (shoulder) goes on the disabled list, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Recommendation: Reimold has been off to one of the best starts in the minors. His OPS (1.190) speaks for itself. Management has said that when Reimold gets the call, he won’t ride the bench.

This on Yahoo... From RotoWorld today.

Tue, May 12

Scott (shoulder) could return to the lineup as early as Thursday against the Royals, MASN Sports reports.

Recommendation: An MRI revealed no structural damage and no tears, so Scott is now considered "day-to-day" with a bruised shoulder after it previously appeared as though he was going to miss a significant amount of time.
(Rotowire.com)

I hope they still bring him up! ;-D

Wouldn't have dropped Chris Duncan for him.
I was able to grab him myself a couple days ago, see how it plays out.
